In a surprising collaboration that breaks traditional forecasts, the game developer has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Disclosed
According to the official announcement, "A strange confrontation pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous transformations echo through the darkness." The storyline presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden cult.
The adventure focuses on "strange tests and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses
The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser finishes with a striking scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Extra Material
Players who accomplish the adventure will obtain an special katana alongside several artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
